Useful when you're behind a firewall or don't know what an IRC client is. It's http based and should work in most modern web browsers.

Publicly accessable logs of channel conversations is definately a bad idea. Just don't do it.
This is the main channel on the network for general chat. Whilst bots aren't banned please be considerate in what your bot says or does. If you're testing a bot then please go into a channel like #bots before exposing it to the general public.
This channel mainly exists for the Computing Society in Durham.
If you want to paste something big here is the place to do it. Or if you're getting help with something that would bore everyone else on #durge then it's better to move your long conversation to here.
There's other channels, but they are either temperory or peoples private channels. If you want your channel listed here, then just ask.
The new stats running with ztatsbot. Ztatsbot is different from many IRC stats in that it doesn't log converstations, but just counts lines and sorts various different bits of information. Also it attempts to joins userhosts rather than nicks, so it can tell the difference between 'Foo!foo@hostname' and 'Foo!bar@hostbar'. It's not perfect but I can't be bothered maintaining a nickjoins files which is not accurate anyway.
Currently there's two stats pages for all you numberjunkies. One is ran by Mikey and the other by Dan. Dan's stats are from about October 2003. Mikey's stats started around Easter time 2004.

Mikey runs a Java based program called PieSpy showing who is currently speaking to who. http://distorted.squiggle.org/pie/durge/durge-current.png
